Many of us have seen green garbage when using guvcview on pcDuino. This is actually related to the ‘camera output’ setting under ‘Video&files’ tab. If you use the CSI camera, YU12 is recommended. For some other USB cameras, yv12 maybe perferred. Please try different settings when you see these kinds of error.
